VERY nice glazing!
Well done anton!
I love pottery! This is beautiful! Congrats on the DD!!!
how did you manage to keep the form from collapsing on the wheel? It's fantastic!
Thanks! I was using some drier clay and not lubricating it with water as much as I would normally which helped with twisting it as well as keeping it more rigid, but I think some luck helped too!
That's so beautiful. Congrats on the DD!
Congrats! Very nice color and texture! The piece flows very nicely
Congratulations on the Daily Deviation
Did you actually twist it or carve it to this effect? There is a very well known ceramic artist... who is simply fascinating you may already know but if you don't Google The Mad Potter of Biloxi
It was actually through a mistake I made while trying to make taller vases because my hands weren't wet enough and I was pulling a bit too hard. I liked how the clay twisted and flopped over as I did it, so I wanted to try to achieve the same effect in a more controlled way.
Nice work! Congrats on the DD
